The following letters, e-mails and pictures were sent to us from our Sportster customers. We read every word and we appreciate receiving pictures. Copies are also posted on our employee bulletin boards throughout the company. We sincerely thank all of our loyal customers for taking the time to write or send pictures to Mustang.

I just recently purchased your wide touring seat for my painfully uncomfortable Sportster and what a difference!! It is so comfortable that I don't want to stop anymore, just ride, ride, ride.

My husband still has his factory seat on his bike and I can outride him by hours and hours. (I am going to buy one for him for his birthday.)

I purchased this Sportster 1200C a few months ago and, with my low back problems, it was difficult to ride for any long periods of time.

I then purchased your Solo seat with backrest as well as the passenger seat. Now I ride with great comfort for hours and no fatigue whatsoever.

I just recently bought my first Harley! I've wanted one forever and I got exactly what I wanted -- almost.

I bought an XL1200R loaded. I even had the "Screaming Eagle" kit put on it but it was missing one thing: "comfort."

A good friend of mine made me sit on his bike; it was like a recliner. I asked him where he got a Harley seat that was so comfortable. He said Mustang!

I went on the web, found the one I wanted and have never looked back. This is the most comfortable seat I have ever sat "in".

I installed the Vintage Touring seat and had a ride. My God, what have I been missing!

Last summer I purchased an XL 883L Sportster Low for my fiancé. I immediately ordered a Mustang Solo saddle for her ride through Monarch Harley-Davidson in Orem, Utah.

The seat looks great on her Sporty and my fiancé has given great appraisal to the new-found comfort of "going the extra mile" on our rides.

I really wondered who could build a seat much more comfortable, more design, in other words, more efficient than that built by Harley-Davidson.

I've found an answer since I came across Mustang seats on the internet. I bought the standard vintage solo seat for my 1200 R.

Just a quick note to let you know that one summer and 6,000 miles later, the Mustang solo seat for my Sportster is still as comfy as the day it took me five minutes to install. :)

This is the best most comfortable thing you can do for your bike. My next bike will have a Mustang seat as well.

Received my Mustang tank bib today for my Sportster 1200. What a great accessory!

I first thought the price was kind of high but, after getting it in my hands, what a beautiful piece of workmanship! The quality is way above expectations and the pics on the web and in your catalog do not do justice to this item.

The studded fender and tank bibs look great on my bike. I appreciate you sending them so fast; I received them on Thursday and entered my bike in a show on Saturday.

We received our new Mustang seat the other day and we just got back from riding our Sportster over 430 miles in less than 24 hours. A piece of cake thanks to your seat. What do you put into that foam cushion anyway?

- My back doesn't hurt.
- My tailbone isn't sore.
- My girlfriend's back doesn't hurt.
- My girlfriend's tailbone doesn't hurt.
- We can now ride all day. Previously any ride over 100 miles would result in at least a couple of days of needed recuperation.

The seat is beautiful and the performance is even better. The backrest not only supports the back, it helps you control the bike better on curves.

I actually saved thousands by not trading in my bike for a more expensive model. With a Mustang seat and backrest, even a Sportster can easily be ridden all day.

After riding hardtail choppers for years, I was quite surprised when my husband suggested we go to the H-D dealer to look at bikes.

They are called “Low” because all the padding was taken out of the seats to get the bike lower. Since neither my husband nor I are vertically challenged, we knew that the seats had to go even before we got the bikes home the first day .

My husband was familiar with Mustang seats and had heard nothing but good things. While he was still making up his mind, I ordered my Wide Vintage seat. I was worried it might be too wide for the Sporty, but comments from other customers convinced me to try it.

It took about a minute to get the old seat off and the new seat on. I added a fender bib for a little dressier look.

We went for a ride the next day and, at the first gas stop, I reluctantly switched bikes with my husband. Needless to say, we made a 200 mile roundtrip the next day to pick up another Wide Vintage seat for his bike. We changed the seat in the parking lot of the shop, stuck the stock seat in a backpack and then we both rode home in comfort.

I can't say enough about how comfortable these seats are and they look good too. Thank you for making a great product. Here is a picture to show how good these seats look on our Sportys.

Fabulous Seat! I have seen the light! After purchasing a new Mustang seat for my Sporty 883 Hugger, my toosh will never cry out in pain again!

I rode 300 miles the first day I had it on--I couldn't stop. It was such a pleasure to be comfortable for once. If only I had a clue two years ago, it would have been my first accessory!

I also added a tank bib and then had my bags studded and conched to pull the whole thing together. What a new and beautiful look. I get so many comments on how pretty my bike is, not to mention it is the hottest Sporty in our area!!!

I bought a Vintage seat with an 8" passenger pad for my Sportster--primarily so my wife could stand more than a twenty mile ride.

After 3000 miles on my new Mustang seat, it is the best money I have spent on my bike. It looks great and gives my back just enough support so that my back or shoulders are never sore.

My fourteen year old son recently took a 300 mile trip with me and no complaints. My wife will easily ride 100 miles now with no numb butt.

If I ever buy a new bike the first thing I will do is buy a Mustang seat; they are the best.

While riding my brand new 1200R home from the Harley dealership, my tailbone convinced me to purchase a Mustang Wide Vintage Solo seat to replace the nice looking (but "butt" ugly) stock saddle.

I already have a Mustang touring seat (wife loves it) on my Road King so was pretty sure the Sporty could be made more comfortable with a simple seat change. RIGHT I was!

I now love this Sportster--reminds me of the old BSAs I had as a kid, except many times the power, no vibration, and a throne made for a king!

The passenger seat for my Sportster arrived safe and sound today and took all of five minutes to fit. It's a perfect match for the front seat which I purchased from you last year. Superb quality and looks real good too.

I wanted to let you know how impressed I have been with my new Mustang seat, backrest and passenger seat. After it arrived, I immediately mounted it on my bike and was amazed how easily it went on.

Riding had been a painful experience for me since I had a couple of bad spills in Australia, but after going for a first ride (three hours non-stop) I realized I was not experiencing the usual pain in the upper back area. Obviously the comfort and support provided by the seat and backrest were the only explanation.

You have a really great product and I am proud to have it on my motorcycle. I have already recommended your company to others and will continue to do so.

I got my XL Low Sportster a couple months ago from Central Harley-Davidson in Shawnee, KS. It didn't take long before I totally understood why the slang name for the stock seat is the '50 mile' seat--numb tush and aching tailbone at about 50 miles.

I liked the looks of your Wide Vintage with the handy driver backrest. On several rides I asked more veteran riders about Mustang seats. I was not given even one negative comment about Mustang; that's saying something about a company.

I ordered the seat and have not been disappointed. I found the solo seat still allows me to use the detachable luggage rack and under-the-seat saddle bags. I picked out the bags to match the braiding of the seat.

Best money I have put into the bike. I can ride all day and not have a sore rear. During the next few runs my friends kept asking me if my butt hurt yet (because theirs did!). "Nope, not yet" was always my reply. Now my friends don't ask anymore.

Just got the new saddle last night, much quicker than expected. The stock (excuse for a) saddle was off in a blink and my new Wide Studded solo perch was on, along with the rear fender bib.

Man, what a difference! It looks like a totally new and much "sportier" Sportster. Another welcome addition is that it cradles and raises me up about a good inch or so, which resolves the problem of my line of sight intersecting with the top of my windshield. I can finally see above it, without having to extend my neck and back.

By the way, my brother wanted me to pass on that Ike and Matt, two of your sales reps, were a big help in getting his FLHT-P saddle and bracket issue figured out. Well, now we're both on Mustangs and we'll definitely be visiting you at the Americade rally so he can pick up a replacement seat for his Road King also.

You've really made a big impression on us with your quality products and , just as important, your exceptional customer service. I would recommend Mustang to anyone looking for a quality seat . Again, many thanks.

I just received my wide solo seat with driver backrest plus the tank and fender bibs. The bibs make a dramatic change in the looks (improvement!).

I was concerned about how the seat was going to look (too large?) but, once installed, it was great. It's sized just right for a Sporty and makes it look like a real bike.

I already know the back rest will make longer trips much more enjoyable. Thanks much!!

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how pleased I am with my new Mustang Vintage solo seat and fender bib on my Sportster.

The merchandise was everything I'd hoped for and more. The fit and quality were excellent, and the comfort over the stock "butt buster" seat can't be measured.

Last year I got my first ever bike, a Sportster with the stock seat. That seat was the worst. I was sore most of the time and couldn't wait to get a new seat.

My wife got me your Wide Studded seat for Christmas and it is awesome. Two seventy mile rides on it and it is amazing how comfortable it is.

I would just like to thank you for making such a comfortable seat to fit the new Sportster. There aren't many aftermarket parts for them and certainly not a good quality seat for a reasonable price.

I have had mine for right at a year and, being a new rider, did not realize how comfortable I could be. I had a stock seat and was always telling my husband after even short rides that my behind was still on the road!

I got my Mustang seat a couple of weeks ago and that Sunday we went for a "seventy-mile hamburger" (rode to a neat little 1950's diner about thirty-five miles away where they have the most fantastic burgers you will ever eat). I was really looking forward to giving the new seat a try.

After we got to the diner, hubby asked how the backside felt and I replied "like I rode up here in my recliner!" Our "seventy-mile hamburger" was twice as enjoyable.

Being a short rider (5') makes finding a comfortable and reachable seat hard to find but I love my new Mustang Vintage Solo.

I got my Wide Vintage solo (with driver backrest) today so there is no need for you to send a tracking number.

I was very skeptical about your seat being, an Art Center College of Design graduate.

However once the seat was in place on my XL, it did impress me both in appearance, design, execution and your attention to detail.

Two weeks ago I ordered a Mustang Seat for my 1200 Sportster through Motorsport Plus in Kingston. I also ordered and received the "long" sissy bar pad for my longer sissy bar.

I just finished installing them and they look AWESOME. There is no comparison to the "_____" seat the previous owner had installed. The studs and conchos on both items match the ones I put on my saddle bags. It is exactly the look I wanted.

My hat is off to your company and I would strongly recommend your product to anyone.

We purchased two Sportsters (an 883 and a 1200) a couple of months before Sturgis. They factory seats were OK for the time, but when we got to Sturgis, one of the first places we hit was the Mustang Seat tent!!

My husband has had two other Mustang seats on other bikes and said that they were the "only way to ride.” This was my first experience with one.

Well, I am so glad that my husband told me that, once I tried it, I would really love the Mustang seat. He was right! The guys there were so helpful. A special thanks to the young man, "Al" who helped us.

My Wide Studded solo seat looks great on my Sportster. More importantly, my butt feels much better. I had some concern that the fifteen inch wide solo might be too wide and look funny, but it does not look out of place at all. Very easy to mount as well; the whole job took less than fifteen minutes.

I purchased your Custom Squareback two years ago for my Sportster Hugger. I absolutely love that seat.

I bought a new Sportster a couple of years ago. The bike was wonderful but the seat killed my rear.

I replaced the original seat with a Mustang and proceeded to put over 30,000 miles on the bike.

On one trip, my wife and I rode over 600 miles in one day. My butt cheeks were smiling at the end of the ride.

Thanks Mustang. My new seat went on my 1200 Custom with ease and fits perfectly. What a big difference it made over the stock seat.

I recently rode my Sportster to a bike show in Ocean City, MD. It was a 150 mile trip and, on my stock seat, it was a long, hard one.

The whole way home I was thinking about the 300 mile trip I was planning for the next weekend. I knew I would have to do something because my wife was going with me and I knew she wouldn't enjoy it. So when I got home I jumped on the web.

I had to get a new seat in just a few days or I was in trouble. Would I get it in time? I crossed my fingers and ordered your Super Touring seat on Monday; it was at my door when I got home on Thursday.

It was well worth the seemingly high price. If you can think of a way to make your wife happy AND for you to get more time on your bike for less than the price of a new seat, go ahead.

I purchased your model #75161 seat for my Sportster two weeks ago from Boise Cycle in Idaho. I put about 150 miles on it and then took a 1400 mile trip over four days.

I am 66 years old and have been riding for 52 years. This is the most comfortable seat I have ever owned. The quality appears to be excellent.

I received my seat and fender bib last week. I haven't even ridden my 883 Sportster to try it out, but the solo seat and the bib look soooo good I don't even care. (I have read too many comments and talked to other people who have Mustang seats to worry about my seat not being comfortable.)

The sissy bar pad that you sent to me was my second purchase from Mustang; I purchased a seat from your company only a few weeks ago. Both purchases exceeded my expectations.

Thus far, my wife and I have logged 700 miles on our new Mustang seat. We can’t believe the difference that the seat makes on our “comfortability” during long rides--we can now ride all day in comfort on my XL 1200. Also, the solid construction and unbelievable styling have captured the attention of many.

Since I last wrote to Mustang regarding the purchase of a seat for my XL Sportster, my wife and I have had the opportunity to add an additional 7500 miles , logging several entire day jaunts and even a couple week-long trips.

Words cannot describe the comfort that Mustang has added to our lives. This fact should not come as a surprise to Mustang users though, since Mustang seats are well known for comfort, styling, and value. Coincidently, many riders have started to ask me about my seat and then noticed the Mustang logo.

Words are not adequate to describe Mustang and I am just thankful that there is a company in today's world that still stands behind its product. I am a true Mustang fan. If there is any way in which I can help to endorse Mustang, let me know.

P.S.: I wish that my new La-Z-Boy were as comfortable as my Mustang seat. I don't suppose Mustang offers its own line of furniture? Just asking.

The only concern I had was how the Wide Vintage Solo was going to look on my Sportster. I thought it might look out of place or too large--but I was willing to live with that to cure the other issues.

I have just returned from Florida where I visited Millers’ Custom in Daytona. They were able to supply the Mustang equipment that I required for my Sportster--needed a bigger suitcase though! I look forward to enjoying many miles with my Mustang.

You may be interested to know that Millers’ was recommended to me by the staff at Arlen Ness Daytona who said that, though they did not stock items for Sportsters, Mustang seats were the best, and Millers’ a good stockist of your products. I'd call that a recommendation!

I received my Vintage solo seat and matching passenger seat for my XL1200R Sportster the other day. The installation was quick and easy. The fit is perfect, too! (That's often a concern with non-factory
accessories.)

An afternoon ride today confirmed my initial impressions: THE SEAT IS GREAT! The burning and painful pressure points are gone. The new seat is firm but in a supportive way--not like the block of vinyl-covered concrete that originally came on the bike (grin).

Just want to touch base with you and let you know that I picked up my new seat for my Sportster. I am very impressed with your service and the service of the postal system.

I just installed it (not even bolted down yet) and had a short sit on it. It feels very comfy and I look forward to putting it to the test.

Noticeable Comfort

Well it took a while to get here but the wait was worth it. I’ve only ridden twenty miles since I put it on but I was surprised how comfortable it felt as soon as I got on it.

I liked the original seat on my Sportster Custom and I didn't think that the Mustang comfort would be noticeable--but it was. Love the seat!

My Sportster wasn't all that comfortable. I bought Harley's Sundowner seat and, although my butt was happy, I had back pain and some shoulder discomfort.

So I decided to get a seat that offered something I could lean against. My new Mustang seat with driver backrest is a great improvement. (Now I won't have to sell the bike or spend money on a costly handlebar
replacement.) It's like riding a new bike.

Thank you for providing riders like me a nice functional seat that puts a big smile on my face.

I've had my Vintage Wide Super Touring seat on my XL1200 Custom for 400+ miles now and I'm really steamed. I should have done this 9,600 miles ago! I can't believe what a difference it makes in comfort.

I could last for about 50-70 miles on the stock seat before I started to get uncomfortable. I haven't been uncomfortable on my Mustang yet!

And my wife, what does she think? She went from a passenger seat about 6" wide to 12.5" wide--what do you THINK she thinks? The only thing we need to worry about now is making sure we stop for gas every 100-125 miles.

I've got 4500 miles on now since the seat installation and haven't had a sore butt ONCE! AWESOME seats!

After almost 10,000 miles on the stock seat on my 1200, which was brutal after the first 100 miles or so, I finally decided to "take the plunge" and buy a Mustang seat. I installed the Wide Vintage Solo about two weeks ago and so far have put about 300 miles on it. The workmanship and styling is top quality all the way.

What a difference in comfort with the Mustang seat! My tailbone used to get sore after about fifty miles--and stay that way for a couple of days. Last weekend I did 113 miles, non-stop, and my tailbone didn't even know it had made the trip with me.

I based my purchase solely on recommendations from a couple of independent shops plus the testimonials on this site. (I was skeptical about the testimonials at first, but not any more.)

I will be recommending Mustang seats to everyone I know from now on. Thanks for a quality product!

I wrote you some time ago about how much I like my Mustang seat. (I told you that I had done 113 miles and my tailbone didn't hurt a bit.)

Well, about three weeks ago, I did an 802 mile trip and I just had to tell you that the results were the same: no sore tailbone! This really reinforces to me that I made the right decision with a Mustang seat.

I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate my Mustang seat. Two years ago my husband bought me a Wide Vintage seat with driver backrest for my 883 Hugger.

The first difference I noticed was how the bike handled. The ride was instantly smooth as silk. No more blowing around in the wind (although I do still have to hold on tight when trucks fly by.)

My Sporty now has more than 13,000 miles on it, and my lady-rider friends call me "Iron Butt." I can easily do more than 500 miles a day without feeling like I've been beaten. My rider friends (both women and men) are all mystified as to how I can ride a Sportster all day without getting biker butt. I just tell them to check out Mustang Seats.

I'm thinking about upgrading to a larger bike, but first I had to see if a Mustang seat was available (of course, it is.) While I was here on the website, I just had to say "Thanks" for a superior product.

We didn't have to ride two up very long on our 1200 Custom to discover that the passenger was good for about twenty minutes before needing a break to stretch the back and wake up the rear (not the bike's rear, the passenger's).

I researched seats on the web and found Mustang to be highly acclaimed by Harley riders. Your web site is great and I was able to quickly narrow my choice down to the Super Touring Seat. I called customer service with a couple of questions that were quickly and professionally answered and I ordered the seat (plus a matching back rest and tank bib!).

The seat arrived in great shape and installed in literally a couple minutes. I was really impressed with the quality, fit and finish!

Now we ride till we need gas and my wife can't stop talking about how comfortable the seat is. We've already gotten lots of inquiries from other Harley owners and we are singing the praises of our Mustang seat!

I just want to let you know that I am thrilled with my new Mustang seat. I recently bought a new Sportster, and I was unexpectedly revisited by an old and very painful problem with my tailbone. I was unable to ride the bike for more than twenty to thirty minutes without being in serious pain.

Since I installed your Regal Touring seat, the problem has gone away, and I am free to enjoy riding my new bike.

I now have over 5,000 miles on my Vintage seat on my Sportster and I cannot imagine the bike without it--or me on the bike without it.

I expected the seat to "break-in" over time and change the initial feel to something else--not so. From the first day, the Mustang seat just seemed to simply and predictably remain comfortable.

Leaning into a tight turn I feel balanced. Powering out of the turn the seat keeps me where I want to be. Crank it up on the straights and I just feel planted. I then lean back, stretch out and the seat just seems to follow me.

My average "short" ride goes about 200 miles, with a 400 mile trip every now and then. The wind may beat me up (my Sportster rides "naked") and the road may be demanding but the Mustang seat makes the day seem effortless.

While the guys I ride with plan rest stops to unwrinkle their bottoms from OEM and other aftermarket seats, I just quietly smile and know that another couple of hours either way doesn't matter at all.

How much do I like the seat? Well if I ever think about another bike there will have to be a Mustang seat for it or I will just keep looking. I can't say that about many things in life.

The Sportster seat was like straddling a log; I had a lot of difficulty putting in more than an hour at a stretch.

I purchased your wide vintage seat last year and, 3000 miles later, can very highly recommend it. I can now easily pull-up/fill-up and keep on going. You've got a great product--can't understand why Harley hasn't
imitated you.

At the end of last week, I ordered a Wide Vintage Solo for my Sportster. Last Tuesday, it was delivered at my door. Very fast service!

The seat is beautiful, very well made and looks like it will last forever. It is in a different league altogether than the stock seat. I ride daily and I was very attentive for any inconvenience while riding, but the seat grows on you mile by mile. It has a few hundred miles on it already!

The seat is very comfortable and, I'm sure, good for days - on - end on the road. Mustang seats are spoken of highly on the Sportster forums, in particular by people who rack up lots of miles. I now join them, because they are absolutely right.

I have put about 500 miles on my new Wide Regal Touring seat since I installed it. It is the most comfortable seat I have sat on since I started riding over thirty years ago.

This is my third and most comfortable Sportster because of my Mustang seat. It is well made and good looking!

I just finished a 170-mile ride on my Sportster with an "out of the box" Mustang Vintage seat....what a comfortable ride!

More than comfort, I wanted to comment on how the design of the seat has improved my fit into the geometry of the bike. I put 1,000 miles on my Sportster with the factory seat and it about ruined my enjoyment for riding. At 5'11" tall with long arms, I felt cramped regardless of how I set the bars. With the Mustang seat I sit a little higher which makes the mid-engine pegs very easy on my legs, the reach to the bars more natural and, when I do use the highway pegs, I can stretch out and just enjoy the ride.

I also noticed that the way the seat cups my body adds to a solid feel on the fast and twisting mountain roads in our area. The factory seat had so much give that I was always holding the tank with my knees to try to keep connected.

After four hours today of head winds, winding roads, heat and lots of bugs I am ready to do it all over again. I am planning a week-long ride and now I can focus on the logistics rather than how many miles I can tolerate each day.

Frankly, the seat is so comfortable and well-made that I will be disappointed if it doesn't cause the bike to get better gas milage, have lower oil temperatures, experience less wind drag and reduce wear on the tires.

Even with those credentials, however, I doubt if my wife will let me bring my Sportster in our family room so I can sit on it while we watch TV...

Thank you very much for saving my butt. I have a Sportster that was giving me a king-sized pain in the rear. After considering several other saddles, I chose a Mustang Wide Vintage Solo.

One of the reasons I chose Mustang was there seemed to be so many satisfied customers. I read and studied the customer testimonials and was impressed by the satisfaction conveyed by these respondents. (Neither "___" nor "___" had customer testimonials as part of their web sites.)

Also, the fact the Mustang seat was comfortable from the very beginning was important to me. Opinions I had heard about the "other" seats was that they both required "breaking in" and this was something I was tired of doing. I wanted a seat that would be comfortable the first time I used it and this has been true of the Mustang seat.

When the seat was delivered I examined it for workmanship and appearance. It is outstanding in both regards. In a few minutes I had the seat installed and went riding for the day. After 225 miles, I can honestly say that my butt did not hurt. (I wish I could say the same thing about the original seat--not only would my butt hurt but I would be stiff and sore for several days afterwards.)

I recently bought a Studded Wide Solo (75702) for my Hugger. The standard solo seat made my butt go numb after fifteen minutes on the bike.

I looked around and found your seat to be the largest (15" wide) available and, after reading your customer comments section, decided to take a chance. (I did wonder if some of the comments were done by your advertising department, as I was told by many old bikers that nothing could help a Sportster and I should just accept what I got.)

I've put 500 miles on the bike and I am pleased as punch. Your seat is a change like night and day. My butt doesn't get sore, and the seat significantly reduces the engine vibration and compensates for the economical suspension on the bike. Instead of the motor being rubber mounted--you are, so to speak! I don't feel most bumps, now. The money was well spent and I would recommend the seat to anyone interested in a higher quality ride on a Sportster. If your seat was stock on that bike, production would have to increase!

You should hear the comments about the seat. It helps a Sport look and ride like a Big Twin. (I have a Big Twin also, but I prefer my Sporty with your seat on it!)

I installed my new Mustang seat today on my Sportster. After a test ride, all I can say is I'm amazed.

I have run a Mustang Studded seat #75566 with passenger pad #75567 on my Road King for four or five years.

This has been the best addition to my bike. I average 15-20,000 km (10-12,000 miles) a year and have never suffered any discomfort. On one trip I rode across both Saskatchewan and Alberta in one shot approximately 1800 km (1,125 miles), something I could never have done on the stock seat without getting numb bum.

Therefore, this past summer when we started looking for a seat for my wife's Sporty, we went straight to your web site. She decided on your solo seat with backrest. She rode 100 km (60 miles) locally, then we set off on a 6000 km (3800 miles) run with not once ever getting numb bum, something that on her stock solo seat would happen within sixty to seventy miles.

All in all, these seats were the best investment we ever made for our bikes. If we move up to newer bikes, they will have Mustang seats on before they even leave the dealer's shop.

I have a Mustang seat on my 1200 Sporty. Without a doubt it is the best money I have ever spent for an aftermarket part.

With your seat, despite the "viviBRatioNs" of my 1200, I can ride and enjoy the bike for hours. With any stock H-D "saddle" that I tried, well, let’s just say the onset of pain was rapid.

Additionally, I must compliment you on your build quality: excellent! The fit and finish on your saddle makes anything else I’ve seen look (and feel) second rate.

I had ridden across the USA and everywhere in between years ago on a variety of bikes. Then, the only bike that I thought had the Cadillac of seats was the Moto-Guzzi. That was so well built, I fell asleep once after eighteen hours at the controls (luckily, riding onto the berm of the freeway brought me back quickly enough to allow more years of riding).

I just had to write you and let you know how happy I am with my Mustang Fastback seat. I have an 883 Sportster and I bought a Mustang seat a few weeks ago in preparation for an Iron Butt SaddleSore 1000 ride I was planning.

Yesterday, I completed my Iron Butt ride and the only part of me that wasn't sore after the 1,000 miles was my butt!

My husband has another brand of seat and after 4,000 miles he said it's just now broken in. I never had to break in my Mustang--it was great from the first ride. (I also get lots of compliments about how nice the seat looks on my bike.)

I have a 1200 Sportster and was satisfied with the stock seat until I went on a 800 mile trip. My butt never hurt so much! I ordered your Wide Vintage seat. My wife liked it immediately and so did I.

The real test came when I went on a 400 mile trip to our state rally. It felt like I had just been on the bike for a few miles. When you say "all day riding comfort" you aren’t kidding.

The Mustang seat is the best seat I have ever sat on! I have been riding motorcycles for over fifty years and I have had every kind of seat you can buy. Mustang seats are the only seats I can ride on all day and not have a sore bottom or back.

I just want to comment on how happy I am with your seat. I took a chance and bought one of your Vintage Super Touring Seats. I’ve seen other touring seats on Sportsters and they always looked gaudy. So, without ever seeing one of yours installed, I took a chance.

I was well prepared to send it back to you and get a smaller seat. But, to my amazement, it looks perfect on my bike. You are to be commended for producing one of the nicest looking, most comfortable, long distance touring seats I’ve ever sat my butt on.

I have a Mustang Wide Vintage solo seat with backrest on my Sportster. I purchased the seat in February to replace an old stock one that was very uncomfortable. I am very happy with the Mustang seat as it gives far better support.

The first weekend I had it on the bike, I made a 350-mile run in one day and didn’t feel any different than when I first got on it in the morning. Since then I’ve made even longer runs (one 600-mile sprint in a day) and can vouch for the comfort of a Mustang. Of all the things I’ve put on my bike, the Mustang seat was the best addition. It is definitely worth the money.

Aside from having an excellent product, I think Mustang also has a great organization that is responsive to customer needs. I am a subscribing member of the XL-list at Sportster.org which is made up of Sportster owners from all over the US and Europe. Whenever someone posts a question about seats, I take the opportunity tell them about Mustang.

I ordered a Fastback seat for my Sportster with yellow flames to match. I received it within a week of ordering, which was wonderful.

I just thought I would let you know that the color matched perfectly and the seat is beautiful. It is very comfortable. The quality of the flames and the yellow stitching is amazing. I am extremely happy with it.

I received my Vintage Touring seat for my Sportster yesterday and, of course, I had to test it out immediately. I put 200 miles on it today and wanted to tell you how pleased I am with it.

No comparison to the stock saddle that came with the bike. My wife, after riding for two blocks, commented that there was absolutely no comparison with what she was used to riding on. (The first hint should have been when I compared the two seats and found rivets instead of staples, metal instead of plastic and rubber mounts instead of…well, nothing.)

I have Mustang seats on my Sportster and on my Dyna Wide Glide and think they are the most comfortable, especially for long distance riding. Just bought a third bike and the first thing I will be changing is the seat.

Just got back from Daytona on the new seat I purchased while at Bike Week. It was outstanding! It was only a 200 mile run with one ten minute fuel stop but man it was great. Thanks to all your folks in Daytona who helped me with my purchase. I can’t believe the difference. The model purchased is a 75129 and I’m running it on a XL Custom. I felt nothing the whole way and could have gone on all night.

I have been bragging to everyone I see about the comfort of my Mustang seat. The greatest compliment was the first ride my wide made on it. She is not an experienced rider but enjoys it greatly. After the first ride on the new seat, she asked a very simple question: "Why can’t they put a seat like that on the bike in the first place?"

Just wanted to let you know that I just purchased my second Mustang seat for my second bike (an 883) and I am just as pleased as with my first. You definitely have the best product on the market. Not only is it the most comfortable seat I have had but also adds great looks to both of my bikes.

I’ve had four different seats since I bought my 1200C. I finally bit the bullet and bought a Mustang Wide Regal Touring Seat because I couldn’t take the dismal comfort of the stock seat and Mustang was highly recommended by long distance riders.

To be honest, comparing the stock seat to the Mustang in ANY terms is absolutely ridiculous. With my old stock seat, I could actually feel the frame rails under the seat after an hour.

I’ve spent fourteen hours straight in the seat with no problem. Its base is solid steel and you get super support as long as you sit on it. Quality wise, the Mustang is built like a tank with metal rivets, not staples, and rugged construction throughout. It’s a heavy, quality piece and you do get what you pay for in this case.

Your seat is the best on the market for price, quality and looks. Appearance-wise it looks fabulous on a bike with the touring package. My 1200 Sportster now has about 4,000 miles on it; I put your seat on it just after 1,000. You really can’t get numb on a seat like that because of all of the cushioning.

Yes, my wife gives it thumbs up when she rides. She just would not ride with that stock seat because after about thirty miles it really started to get uncomfortable. I would recommend your seats to anybody.

The Regal touring seat and pad combination are fantastic! My teenage son and I just returned from a trip to the Susquehanna Valley HOG rally at Harrisburg, PA, and felt comfortable riding the whole time.

With the original seat, my son could barely walk the day after a long ride and I was hurting in my butt. The suspension in the new Sportster Custom isn't painful on everything other than smooth pavement after a few miles. With your seat, it’s like sitting in my living room easy chair.

It looks good on the bike as well. The design complements the lines and the material has a quality look and feel. To top it off, the seat fit perfectly – just pop off the old seat and put down the new one.

I was very pleased with the Wide Regal seat I had on my Sportster and the 8,000 miles spent on it were indeed comfortable.

Then I bought a new Road King and after only 600 miles my wife stated, "The only way I’ll ride more than an hour with you again is if you replace that horrible seat with a seat that was as comfortable as the Mustang seat we had on our Sportster. Also, stop complaining about your back and buy a backrest."
